Ashley House | Valdosta, Georgia

 

DESCRIPTION:

IPG, working with the developer, provided this historic renovation to an existing section 8 property restricted to seniors ages 62 and older.  The former Daniel Ashley hotel is located in Valdosta, Georgia. Built in 1925 and designed by Daugherty & Gardner in the Neo-classical architectural style. This is a contributing building on the National Register of Historic Places (NRIS #83000234) and a part of the Valdosta Commercial Historic District. The project was renovated with historic tax credits.  Work included renovations to the entire facility both interior and exterior along with improvements to exterior spaces including landscaping. The newly renovated facility was opened October of 2014.

CLIENT:

Reade Hall Renovation | Valdosta, Georgia

Valdosta State University

 

DESCRIPTION:

IPG provided architectural design, construction documents, and construction administration for renovation of historic Reade Hall, a 21,363 SF, 93 bed, dormitory on the VSU main campus.  Reade Hall was built in 1936.  The approach to the interior renovation of Reade Hall was to preserve any significant architectural elements, to minimize the loss of existing dorm units, and to effectively utilize recent upgrades while providing the required improvements and amenities. Since safety and controlled access to the dorm rooms was paramount, the centrally located lobby area was expanded and upgraded as the common security control area.  A bathroom suite was added on the South wing of the dormitory.  IPG also provided interior design services with the selection of interior finishes and furnishings and coordinated with the University to provide historic artwork.

Tiger Village II | Douglas, Georgia

South Georgia State College

 

DESCRIPTION:

IPG worked with Ambling University Development Group in the production of this new student housing complex for South Georgia College. Tiger Village, Phase II, includes approximately 300 suite style student beds and common areas such as laundries, study/work group areas, and computer labs. IPG provided construction documents and interior design services through coordination of finishes and drawings.

The Links Phase I, II, III| Valdosta, Georgia

 

DESCRIPTION:

IPG was responsible for Phases I, II, and III of The Links Apartments, a 184 unit gated community located in Valdosta, Georgia.  The complex includes seventeen two-story buildings, each containing eight  2-bedroom and 3-bedroom units with sunrooms and utility hook-ups. In addition, there are two buildings containing twenty-four 1-bedroom unit apartments. The complex includes garages on site, a leasing office with an exercise room, a pool, and spa area.

Spring Chase Apartments Phase II-IV| Valdosta, Georgia

 

DESCRIPTION:

Considered one of Valdosta's choice multifamily communities, Spring Chase Apartments consist of 288 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom units in 36 two-story eight-plex buildings.  The complex is arranged to maximize existing vegetation on the partially wooded 23 acre site.

Amenities include individual security systems, extensive landscaping throughout, two pools, a clubhouse, a lease office with meeting loft, and tennis and basketball courts.  The leasing office and pool area were designed to give Spring Chase a strong and appealing presence along Norman Drive, reinforcing their aim to create the finest in apartment living.
